Education Programme

Exeter Eye is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of ophthalmic care and surgery and to assist colleagues with their own continuing education.

All consultant eye surgeon partners at Exeter Eye teach medical students at Exeter University Medical School throughout the academic year. We have regular teaching evenings for our optometrist colleagues in the region, covering all areas of ophthalmology. Every sub-specialty of ophthalmology is covered by our consultant surgeons at Exeter Eye.

Last year was very pleasing, as we continued to successfully grow patient numbers. We are now at the start of a new calendar year and our focus continues to develop throughout 2018.

General Optical Council Approved CET For Optometrist logoAs those of you who have been here before will know Admiral House has an excellent Seminar Room and we would like to invite you to one of our educational evenings. This will consist of an informal presentation from our consultants Peter Simcock and Hirut von Lany with refreshments and a light supper.

We are recognised by the General Optical Council as a provider of Continuing Education and Training and we will submit the evening programme for recognition of CET points.
