Exeter Eye is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of ophthalmic care and surgery and to assist colleagues with their own continuing education.
We have regular teaching evenings for our optometrist colleagues in the region, covering all areas of ophthalmology. Every sub-specialty of ophthalmology is covered by our consultant surgeons at Exeter Eye.
We are recognised by the General Optical Council as a provider of Continuing Professional Development and we will submit the evening programmes for recognition of CPD points.
We plan to run our next optometrist educational event on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 at 6:00pm at The View Restaurant, Sandy Park, Exeter and are currently in the process of applying to the GOC for CPD points for the following talks:
Format of the evening:
These talks will be followed by a two course meal, which is usually served at around 8.30pm.
Please register your interest by emailing info@exetereye.co.uk with your name, practice details and GOC number or call 01392 699969 by Thursday 12th February 2026 to reserve a place on an event as numbers are limited.
We will confirm by email if you have secured a place and will be back in touch with a pre-order link. This will enable you to submit your meal choices. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.
These events are open to all optometrists in the area so please feel free to extend the invite to colleagues at your practice who may also be interested in attending.
