The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They inspect both NHS trusts and independent hospitals/clincs.
The CQC monitor, inspect and regulate healthcare services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and publish what they find, including performance ratings to help people choose their care. They carried out a comprehensive inspection of Exeter Eye LLP @ Admiral House on 5 and 6 January 2022.
Exeter Eye received a rating of overall: GOOD.
Their report describes a judgement of the quality of care at Exeter Eye. It is based on a combination of what the CQC found when they inspected, information from their ongoing monitoring of data about services and information, patients, the public and other organisations.
