About Ms Quinn

Ms Annika Quinn is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with expertise in cataract surgery and comprehensive general ophthalmology. In her private practice, she provides adult cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange and assessment and management of a wide range of general eye conditions. She is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care and ensuring that patients feel fully informed and supported throughout their treatment.

Ms Quinn completed her seven-year specialist ophthalmology training in the South West of England before undertaking an advanced fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology at the University of Auckland and Greenlane Clinical Centre in New Zealand. After returning to Exeter she was appointed as a substantive Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in 2026.

Alongside her private practice, Ms Quinn is an NHS Consultant with specialist expertise in general ophthalmology, adult cataract surgery, paediatric ophthalmology, including paediatric cataract surgery and adult and paediatric strabismus (squint) surgery. She is actively involved in teaching, research and quality improvement, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences.

Mr Quinn and her fellow Ophthalmic Surgeons work very closely together to ensure all Exeter Eye patients have access to an experienced Consultant Eye Surgeon at all times.
