Our operating theatres are also equipped with HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, which can safely remove all airborne particles larger than 0.2 micrometres in size. This is combined with 20 air changes every hour, to give the cleanest operating theatre air possible.

As well as HEPA ventilation, the Toul Operio mobile air‑filtration system delivers a focused, sterile laminar airflow of highly filtered air across the surgical instruments and operative site, helping maintain a controlled environment throughout cataract surgery so that both the wound area and nearby instruments remain sterile for the entire procedure.

Furthermore, you’ll enjoy relaxing in the pleasant environment we’ve created at Exeter Eye. We’ve made sure the design, décor and furnishings in our reception area will help you relax and achieve a calm state of mind before your treatment

We also take our corporate social responsibility seriously as our facility has over 100 solar panels on the roof, making it easily the greenest and most environmentally friendly eye facility in the South West area.

Your relatives or friends are also welcome to accompany you to the eye clinic. With wheelchair access and disabled parking, we aim to cater for all needs.
