Vitreoretinal surgery at Admiral House by Exeter Eye

We are delighted to announce that Exeter Eye has invested in state-of-the-art facilities to provide vitreoretinal surgery for a range of conditions.

These include troublesome floaters, scar tissue on the central retina or macula (such as epiretinal membrane and cellophane maculopathy), and macular holes

Our fellowship-trained, highly experienced consultant vitreoretinal surgeons perform the procedures under local anaesthesia, with sedation provided by a Consultant Anaesthetist.

Vitreoretinal surgery is carried out as a day-case procedure, with pre-operative assessment and follow up provided at the same facility.
